ROUND TOP-CARMINE I.S.D. Carmine serves as the headquarters for the Round Top-Carmine
Independent School District. The district, with total enrollment around 300, offers smaller class sizes and dedicated
administrators and instructors, an attribute not available in many larger cities.
The Administration Office and High School is located in Carmine. The district's Elementary campus
is located in the neighboring town of Round Top. BLINN COLLEGE. Carmine is also minutes away from Blinn College, with its main campus
located in Brenham. Blinn College offers numerous degrees and certificates within
a number of campuses. Presently, Blinn College is one
of the largest public community junior colleges in the state of Texas. Many students in the area commute to Blinn College, Brenham
campus. MARTIN LUTHER LUTHERAN SCHOOL. The Martin Luther Lutheran School provides a Christian
Day School to pre-school children in the area. The school is located at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine. - - - Area Churches

AREA CHURCHES. A Lutheran & Baptist Church are located in
Carmine. Many other churches are also located nearby.

 CARMINE LIONS CLUB. The Carmine Lions Club meets twice a month. Their meeting facility, located in Carmine, is
also available for rental.
CEDAR CREEK SCHUETZEN VEREIN.
The Cedar Creek Schuetzen Verein maintains the Carmine Hall, which is available for public rental.
The hall is ideal for large and small celebrations. A Schuetzen Verein is an old German tradition, which translates to "Protect
Society" and promotes unity within the community.
CARMINE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. The Carmine Chamber of Commerce promotes
area tourism and businesses. The Chamber also sponsors community events throughout the year. The old Carmine Railroad Depot has been restored by the Chamber and serves as a
museum. For more information, contact the Chamber of Commerce for a brochure of Carmine. MORE CLUBS. The Carmine Senior Citizens Group, sponsored by Combined
Community Action and the Martin Luther Lutheran Church, offers activities and meals for the elderly in the community. A
local S.P.J.S.T. Lodge also meet in Carmine. Together, many of the organizations and clubs support the projects of the youth
in the Carmine area.
